Kennett Square — calls for creative thinkers and innovators in all disciplines, from students to the elderly and everyone in between — the historic Kennett Square (HKS) makes Kennett Square a better place for people. I would like to hear your idea of making it.
“What did Kennett have / do / want to offer? What do you think is a small project to make Kennett Square more fun, more creative, safer and more beautiful?
It can be small that makes a big difference between a livable place and a lovable place.
Envision a project that you and your friends, family, or classmates can achieve to benefit the people of Kennett Square (if you have some help and $ 1,000). Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Square Roots Collective, there are two separate contests and two $ 1,000 prizes. One is for young people aged 12-18 and the other is for adults over the age of 18.
“People often think that only large, large projects make a difference,” says Bo Wright, HKS Executive Director. The actual permanent changes that meet the needs and reflect the value of the community often improve over time and occur slowly. These improvements often solve the problems faced by the population. But just as important, it can also be designed to bring joy or beautify the place. “
