Federal agents questioned a federal women’s prison guard in California and searched his office on Thursday, weeks after a former prison officer at the facility was arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse.
It was not immediately clear whether Thursday’s activities at the Federal Correctional Facility in Dublin were related to last month’s arrest. Documents related to Thursday’s search remained sealed. The FBI said it was unable to provide details of the case.
In a statement, an FBI spokesperson confirmed that the agent had “law enforcement” in a less secure Bay Area prison.
