Injured and arrested for “Redneck Rave” on March 5 in a park in Kentucky | National

Mammoth Cave, Kentucky (AP) — Dozens of people called “country rave” faced criminal accusations or injuries at a five-day party in south-central Kentucky.

Blue Horror Offroad Park in Edmonson County hosted an event last week that the organizers said would feature “mud, music, mayhem”, Lexington Herald Leader report.. The crowd was estimated to be in the thousands.

Edmonson County Sheriff Shane Doyle said 14 people were arrested in the newspaper and an additional 34 were cited in criminal accusations ranging from assault and strangulation to possession of drugs and alcohol. Court records indicate that arrests were from several other states, including Kentucky and Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, and Tennessee.

According to Doyle, some participants were stabbed in a log that stabbed a car floorboard, and were injured in an accident such as a laceration, a dislocation of a finger, or a broken bone.

Organizer Justin Stowers did not immediately respond to the newspaper when asked about the event.

“It’s the biggest event we’ve ever had, and we’ve had an unexpected number of people and random things, so we all feel we’ve done very well,” Stoise said in a Facebook post.

In addition to live music, Rave featured football games and dismantling derby. Another event is scheduled for October.
