“I’m very happy to know who did it. Someone confessed to me that he did this,” said hit-and-run 30-year-old survivor Ashley Harden.
Harden is surrounded by her loved ones after hearing a hit-and-run driver who attacked her in the early morning of July 4 crouching and confessing.

Harden and her family said 16 days had passed and believe that the suspect would not have confessed without social media.

Both Harden and her family want to get answers from alleged white SUV drivers.
“Look face-to-face with this guy and ask why his family knew he was wrong, but didn’t come forward early,” Jones said.

The detective said he was continuing to review the evidence and was considering prosecution in consultation with the DA office.
