Victory improves Austin Town Fitch to 5-1 throughout the season

Austintown, Ohio (WKBN) – Austintown Fitch passed Howland 22-3 in five innings in high school softball action on Monday afternoon.

The Falcons played 5 runs in the 2nd and 17 runs in the 3rd.

Fitch’s Bella Tofil was 3-3 with 3 RBIs, Sydney Schaefer was 3-3 and the run ran.

Islay Ray scored 3-4 RBIs and Sophia Senediak scored 1-2 with a three-run home run with the Falcons victory.

Jennifer Sindledecker, Bailee Beasom and Kayla Campbell each lost to the Tigers.

Pitcher Keila Schubert won Fitch’s victory, released a complete game, and allowed two earned runs with two strikes.

The victory will improve Austin Town Fitch to 5-1 throughout the season.

Howland falls to 4-4 in the campaign.
