Hamburg student wins 3rd place in video contest

Highway Safety Network and State Farm recently donated $ 150 to Hamburg High School senior Domanick Ernst for a third place prize in a teenage safe driving video contest.

His video was on Teen Driver Safety Week, Teen Drivers, Speeding TikTok Video Contest. The contest was hosted by the Highway Safety Network during Teen Driver Safety Week in October. The scholarship was funded by the Survival of the State Farm Teen Road Safety-Drive Grant.

Ernst’s video shows a conversation between friends about crash statistics and how you need to practice safe driving behavior such as buckling and deceleration while holding the steering wheel. Donation to United Way

This year was the 25th consecutive year that the Utilities Employees Credit Union donated to United Way to support the mission of a nonprofit organization.
