Halle Berry made a directional debut to “proud” the children.
The 55-year-old Hollywood star conducted the sports drama flick “Bruised.” There she also plays Jackie Justice, a shameful MMA fighter who has decided to return to an unauthorized match.
And the two mothers, Nahla (13 years old) and Maceo (8 years old) from a previous relationship, said she “they got here.”
Halle insists that he must “continue”, and when he goes out of his comfort zone, he can “continue to discover more aspects” of himself.
The “Catwoman” star explains:
“Sometimes I never do it myself, but what I do for my children has changed me because of my motherhood.
“And now that I have kids is the reason I’m supervising because I have to keep going.
“I must continue to discover more aspects of who I am.
“I have to keep trying to be proud of them. I have to keep modeling as a black woman, as a woman, and someone who lives for them and is deeply involved in their careers. Must be.
“The moment they came here, they changed my game because I need to model what it looks like for them.”
Halle, who worked on the movie soundtrack with his musician partner Van Hunt, added how she was immediately associated with the character.
She states: “When I read this script, it caught me. I understood essentially all the characters and their fragility.
“I understand what it is to be a mother, try to be a working mother, and understand how difficult it is.
“There are so many elements in this movie that I just connected, and I couldn’t let go of it after reading the script.”
And her own love for MMA fighters jumped at the chance to tell her a story.
She added to “Entertainment Tonight”:
“I grew up as a big boxing fan.
“I’ve always loved good fighting movies. I love the quality of people who find redemption and forgiveness, and above all, get higher. I always feel better when I see this kind of movement.”
