Gun control begins with selecting the right people – Daily Local

Following the horrific shootings in Chester County and the Yuvalde and Buffalo communities in the United States, we are calling on lawmakers at all levels to prioritize gun safety.

As a high school mother, I am worried about the prevalence of gun violence in the United States and its impact on children and communities. It was acquired by mother, teacher, and veteran lawmaker Chris Frahan.

To protect our community from gun violence, we need representatives to take action on common-sense policies that have proven to save lives. As our elected representative, Congressman Flahan not only voted for such measures, but also worked to hear and understand the position of her members and carried them to DC with her.

A quick search of Guy Ciarrocchi’s website mentions “common sense” but nothing about his position on gun safety. If, in the wake of Yuvalde and Buffalo, the candidate cannot find a word that gains such widespread support and clarifies his position on the matter, he clarifies it as a representative elected by DC. How can you expect that?

When you vote in November, you don’t just fill your seat. We are voting for someone who will be our voice. If a candidate can’t find a word to talk about an important issue here in Chester County, how can you trust to speak for us at DC about this issue and other issues?
