Glenn Close wants to replay the role of Cruella de Vil | Entertainment News

Glenn Close wants to play Cruella de Vil again.

The 74-year-old actress played the iconic Disney villain in the live-action version of “101 Dalmatians” in 1996, and played that role in the sequel “102 Dalmatians,” with another story about the character in mind. I made it clear that I have put it.

Glenn said: “There is a great story about making another Cruella with your own Cruella.”

The “Fatal Charm” star remained silent about the details of the plot, but gave some hints about the plot.

She made fun of: “Cruella comes to New York and disappears in the sewer.”

Glenn previously explained that it’s difficult to play a character who wants to steal a herd of puppies and make a new coat because the dog was afraid of her.

She recalled: “It was hard because when I was dragging Cruella completely, all those great little dogs didn’t want to have anything to do with me.”

The “Hill Billy Elegy” star admitted that she more easily channeled the villain when she wore the character’s make-up and black and white wigs.

Glenn said: “There is a particular character I acted like Cruella … she’s there when you’re completely dragging.”

Meanwhile, Crows also discussed playing Normadesmond in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s long-awaited movie “Sunset Boulevard,” and appeared in Broadway productions as the same character.

She told Variety: “We are ready to go. We are very, very close.

“I’m passionate about it. If I can take her back to the movie, I won’t do what I do for the rest of my life. I’ll play my grandmother until I die.”

Disney has revived the character of Cruella de Vil in the next prequel, “Cruella,” in which Emma Stone plays Dognapper as a young woman.

Starring Emma Thompson, Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Kirby Howell Baptist and Mark Strong, the film will be streamed on Disney + from May 28, 2021.
