Skiing and snowboarding at Seven Springs Resort canceled due to weather

(WKBN) – The Seven Springs Resort in western Pennsylvania is suspending ski and snowboard activities on Friday, March 3rd.

according to Facebook postwith fluctuating temperatures, the resort chose to protect the mountain’s snow base.

Brett Cook, the resort’s general manager, said there will be an opportunity for snowmaking later in the weekend.

The resort will resume normal operations on Saturday, March 4th at 8am.

Sister resorts Hidden Valley and Laurel Mountain will remain open on Fridays.
