One injured in car and buggy accident in Center County

Center County, Pennsylvania (WTAJ) – One person suffered minor injuries in an accident between a car and an Amish buggy in Miles Township.

On July 18, authorities responded to a report of an accident involving a car and buggy, said Eric Miller, chief of the Miles Township Fire Company. The buggy was heading west on Route 192 and was about to turn left into the lane when a vehicle came up behind it.

Miller said the car did not notice the buggy, overtook another vehicle and eventually collided with the buggy. An unidentified man driving the buggy suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
