Fetterman vows to abolish filibuster and systematize law
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Pennsylvania (WHTM) – US Senate candidate John Fetterman of Pennsylvania continued his campaign comeback after suffering a stroke earlier this year.
Fetterman’s Sunday rally focused on abortion rights, with the Democratic candidate standing in front of a “Women for Fetterman” sign and carrying a pink Fetterman shirt. He introduced himself as “John Fetterwoman” at the beginning of his speech.
“Should this decision be made by Dr. Oz?” Fetterman asked the crowd. “It should be left to women and real doctors.”
“Don’t offend women,” added Fetterman.
About 3,000 supporters turned up for the rally, making it one of the largest events since returning to the campaign trail, according to Fetterman’s campaign.
The campaign says Fetterman promised to “discard and systematize the filibuster” during the event Law vs Wade.“
