Erie’s highest temperature today is 90 degrees Celsius, and many are looking for ways to keep them cool.
Some people headed for the fountain at Perry Square. Families visiting the fountain wanted to survive the heat.
Last year, some visitors said they missed the fountain because the water did not turn on due to a pandemic.
One Erie resident said it was great to see the kids playing outdoors as they did when they were children.
“It’s beautiful,” said Michelle Moore, a resident of Erie.
Perry Square Fountain may not be very busy the rest of the week as it is expected to rain in Erie.
