The sky was clear blue and the runner’s cheeks were breezy, and she was enthusiastically training for the next race. Her coach was running around the track with her, and the air was alive with potential. They soared with smooth movements and the runner was calm and confident in her. And after a while, the pair started to fall.
“You are doing great things,” the coach said. “But there are two important times in the race.”
While the coach continued, the runner slowed down and listened. It runs too fast and can consume all your energy. If you do so, you may not have enough power left by the end of the race. “
Calm down, the runner nodded and asked, “What is the second important point?” The coach replied:
You might think, “I don’t know if I’ll get it done.” You may be tired and want to quit. “
Have you started working towards your goals, but something happened and didn’t end? Are you trying to give up your dream because you hit the road?
Or do you think it’s too late to succeed?
Many give up quickly, just before they succeed. But don’t give up now, as it’s not who you are.
Not long ago, I received a moving letter from a gentleman. He explained that he was a gas and grocery salesperson and was married to a high school lover. “I’m starting to build dreams while talking,” he writes.
He grew up in a broken house, had no father, and was raised by a woman who guarded him as a boy. For years he noticed that he was in stop mode. Still, he has always been passionate about haircuts and styling. He has been working since he was 16 years old, but he had no resources or means to pursue his dreams. Sensing God was calling him to a new horizon, he decided not to stop.
So he found the program, and after a lot of research and some tests, he was eligible to start the course.
But shortly after starting the program, he ran into another obstacle. He was a slow learner, so he struggled and struggled at school. He thought his dream was over. But God had another plan, and what looked like a closed door was actually the golden window of opportunity. The instructor placed him in a special class, which allowed him to be funded and he was able to attend a beauty school for free!
In his letter, he revealed that he bowed and prayed when he heard the incredible news with tearful eyes. .. Please be with me. It will be hard and tiring, but I promise to go forever! “
The gentleman focused on his goals, working in his daytime work from 6 am to 2 pm and attending a cosmetology school at night. His efforts and determination were rewarded with the support of his wife and some valuable relatives who believed in him.
The graduation ceremony was one of the best times of his life! Then he remembered how a so-called friend told him “you are crazy” and “you will not go anywhere”. Thankfully, he didn’t listen to their denials and instead resolutely pursued his passion.
Towards the end of his letter, he writes: I took advantage of the opportunity. What a road it was! But your dreams are dreams unless you do the job and make it happen. “
Similarly, look at the greatness of your potential and all the possibilities that God has set before you. It’s not time to be discouraged. God has not brought you here to give up on you now.
So take it seriously, keep going, and make every effort to reach your goals. Like this gentleman, with patience, you can overcome any obstacles you are facing and move on to something bigger.
Therefore, stop looking at where you’ve been and start focusing on where you can be today and tomorrow. I heard about a boy who was planning a fishing trip and his father.
They were all full and ready to go, so I woke up early in the morning with excitement. But it started to rain.
“Why should it rain today?” The boy yelled and complained. His father tried to comfort him. Still, he was so disappointed that it didn’t satisfy the boy.
The rain stopped at noon, my father said. Let’s go fishing. So they went to the lake.
They fished. And surprisingly, they caught more than ever.
A few hours later, the buckets were full and they went home. Then they cooked some of the fish for dinner.
As they sat at the table and ate, the father asked his son to give grace. The boy bowed his head and prayed. “Thank you God for this food. If you were in a bad mood early today, it was because I couldn’t see enough.”
There is a lot of joy in your future. So look ahead! “Endure the race marked for you and run.” (Hebrews 12: 1) Don’t be exhausted and lose your heart. It is the time of God’s blessing in your life.
Victory awaits you. It will continue to last. A miracle is coming.
