Cute cat and dog cargo moved due to cold reaches Delaware – NBC10 Philadelphia

Adorable cat and dog cargo fleeing the cold weather in the southern states has landed in Delaware. I hope there will soon find a home that animals love.

The Delaware Human Association said in a press release that the first group of four expected animals had already landed, including cats and lactating dogs along with puppies from Georgia.

DHA also expects more cats and dogs to come from Virginia and Texas after the animals have been expelled by the brutal storm that hit the area.

“DHA regularly rescues and euthanizes animals from high-traffic open admission shelters across the country,” the group said.

Animals undergo medical examinations and behavioral screening before adoption at DHA’s Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach shelters.
