CraigVonDohren gains Bruce Rogers Memorial MoneyMaker feature on Grandview Speedway

Craig von Doren kicked off a new season at the Grand View Speedway in Becktelsville with a 60-lap victory at the Bruce Rogers Memorial Money Maker on Saturday.

Oley’s Von Dohren won $ 10,060 in his first win at the Big Block / Small Block Modified event. The victory was also his seventh at the opening night in Grand View.

Kutztown’s Jordan Heng won a 25-lap sportsman feature on the first night of the 60th season of Grand View.

Von Doren was running in 4th place in the middle of the main event. He moved up on a restart after paying attention on lap 38. He passed Jeff Strunk in 3rd place, followed by Doug Manmirer in 2nd place on lap 41.

He then skated beside him on Turn 2 on lap 47 after fighting Tim Buckwalter for a few laps.

The second was Strunk, followed by Manmiller, Jared Umbenhauer and Craig Whitmoyer. Buckwalter, Henn, Nate Brinker, Bobby Gunther-Walsh and Brett Kressley have completed the top ten.

In the sportsman special feature, Hen, who started from 5th place, took the lead in the race that completed in less than 7 minutes without paying attention on the 12th lap.

Mark Kemerer finished second, followed by Cody Manmiller, Jimmy Rabby and Dakota Kohler.
