Three people taken to hospital after car crash involving police cruiser in Youngstown, Ohio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown police chase Saturday afternoon ended in a multi-vehicle crash that sent several people to hospital.

Around 5 p.m. Saturday, a police chase took place near Oakhill Avenue and Pepsi Place when two cars collided.

Police say the incident began with a domestic dispute, with someone being threatened and leaving the house with a gun.

The driver of one car fled police but was hit by a cruiser.

Two were taken into custody and three were taken to St Elizabeth’s Hospital with injuries.
