Bruce Springsteen Lyrics and Harmonica Sale | Music

Bruce Springsteen’s harmonica and handwritten lyrics will be auctioned later this month.

The notes of the 72-year-old singer of “Thunder Road”, “For You”, and “Night” are “Thunder Road” and “Johnny 99′.

Bruce wrote the lyrics for “Thunder Road” on a four-page dominant notebook with a pen. It contains the entire song recorded on the 1975 Born to Run album, but the last page contains two different drafts of the first poem.

The “For You” document is also pen-written on a notebook with rules, with two minor differences from the recorded version. The line “But you didn’t need my urgency” was omitted and the word “your” was used instead of the lyrics “my”.

The lyrics of “Night” on page 3 are the same as the album version.

The estimated selling price of the Thunder Road manuscript is between $ 50,000 and $ 70,000, while the other two are expected to be available for purchase between $ 25,000 and $ 30,000.

Meanwhile, the Hohner marine band “F” harmonica used in “Thunder Road” is expected to earn $ 5,000 to $ 7,000, and the Hohner marine band used in “Johnny 99” from Bruce’s “Nebraska” album in 1982. The “E” harmonica costs $ 2,000 to $ 2,500.

Both instruments are boxed and come with a signature, date and notarized letter from Mike Batlan, the boss instrument engineer from 1973 to 1985.

The items were previously owned by an individual collector who first acquired them from musical instrument technology.

Auctioneers who previously announced the same sale will see the Beatles souvenir host placed under the hammer, including the group’s early two handwritten setlists.
