Pittsburgh (KDKA)-Brentwood leaders interviewed two providers who submitted bids to provide EMS services to the autonomous region.
In a letter to the residents, autonomous region leaders state that the services provided by the Brentwood EMS will not end.
Brentwood EMS is now housed in an old autonomous region building.
Deterioration means that the building must be demolished.
Members of the council say the service was bid for fear that Brentwood EMS would not have a base when the building was demolished.
Brentwood EMS and Medical Rescue Team South Authority have submitted bids to provide the service.
