Bob Odenkirk was rushed to the hospital after collapsing on the “Better Call Saul” set.
The 58-year-old actor was filming a drama series playing Jimmy Magill (also known as Saul Goodman) on Tuesday (27.07.21) at Sony’s premises in Culver City, California. He suddenly collapsed.
According to TMZ, Bob called an ambulance at around 11:34 am and was surrounded by crew members trying to help him before being transferred to the hospital.
The “Breaking Bad” star is still being treated, but details about the actor’s condition and the reason for the collapse are unknown at this time.
Bob has been busy shooting the sixth and final seasons of the “Breaking Bad” spin-off series and has been nominated for four Emmy Awards as a prominent leading actor in the drama series.
The rest of the episode will air early next year, almost two years after the fifth season’s hit screen.
But in the meantime, fans were able to see Bob with his wife Naomi Yomtov and two sons in the action movie “Nobody.” He recently admitted that he expected people to laugh when he became interested in his role in this genre.
“Listen. When I told my boss,’I think I can make an action movie,’ I thought I would laugh, but I didn’t laugh.
“Then I expected him to be laughed at when he ran it here on the Hollywood flagpole, but people replied,” Yeah, that would be cool. ” “
Bob spent two years preparing the stunt actor Daniel Bernhardt and Hatch’s “Nobody” Munsell part, but refused to consider “bulky” because he didn’t want to look like a “superhero.”
“I didn’t want to be like a superhero. I have friends doing these superhero movies and they are doing such weight training. It’s all biceps and all of them * **.
“I want to fight myself, but I also want to be like my dad,” he said.
