The Berks County Parks and Recreation Department wants to know your thoughts on the future of Antitam Lake Park.
Department officials will hold a meeting this month to gather residents’ thoughts and opinions about the park in preparation for a master plan for the Angora Fruit Farm portion of the park. The plan provides a blueprint for future recreation, improved public use and conservation initiatives.
The meeting will take place October 27, 6 pm-8:30pm, at the Antitam Valley Recreation and Community Center on Byram Street 905 in Exeter Township.
County spokeswoman Stephanie M. Weaver said meeting participants had the opportunity to view the draft draft of the plan and share ideas with department members. A design consultant will also contact you about the plans you have made for the future of the park.
“Your thoughts and ideas are important to help establish priorities for future park expansion,” she said in a press release announcing the conference.
