Berks Ballet Presents “Forgotten Fairy Tale” – Reading Eagle

This year, the Berks Ballet Theater will be presenting a performance and party for the production of “Forgotten Fairy Tale” at the Mirror Arts Center for Reading on May 14th.

Choreographed by resident choreographer Nathan Brand, “Red Rose & Snow White” and “Ballerina’s Story” will surely captivate and delight the audience with their original choreography and new costumes by Handel and Reiserger’s music.

These two new fairy tales for children and families to celebrate the performing arts of Berks County will captivate and carry the audience through dance.

The pre-performance party from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm invites the audience to enjoy snacks, crafts, and meet and greet the cast before performing at 2:00 pm.

“It’s a great event for the family to do together!” The Berks Ballet Theater said in a statement.

“Red Rose & Snow White” is an original adaptation based on the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. The ballet excerpt is the story of two sisters, Red Rose and Snow White, who travel through the magical forest. As the sisters pass through the forest, the creatures of the forest dance, rejoice, and the flowers come to life.

“The Story of Ballerinas” is an original work that brings the painting scene inspired by Edgar Degas to life. Dancers still wearing floral tutu wake up to express the beauty of ballet through gorgeous movements and French Impressionist motifs.

Tickets are $ 20 for adults. To purchase a ticket, please visit the following website:
