Pittsburgh (KDKA) — Allegheny County Health Department reports 186 new reports Coronavirus Cases and 17 additional deaths.
Of the newly reported cases, 186 have been confirmed from 660 PCR tests.
Positive test dates range from February 21st to March 2nd. Only one test was over a week old.
According to the Ministry of Health, new cases range in age from 7 months to 94 years, with a median age of 38 years.
After 17 new deaths were reported from state-imported data, the county-wide death toll totaled 1,686. Of the deaths, three were associated with long-term care facilities. According to the Ministry of Health, five were in their 60s, one was in their 70s, five were in their 80s, and six were in their 90s.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Allegheny County currently has a total of 5,131 hospitalizations and 77,239 cases of coronavirus.
