Alicia Vikander believes that motherhood adds “depth” to her on-screen performance.
The 32-year-old actress recently confirmed that she gave birth to her first child earlier this year, and Alicia thinks it will be added to her acting skills.
Alicia, who starred in Justin Chon’s drama “Blue Bayou,” explained: “My tools as an actor are my emotions and experiences.
“Every day you build that bank and remember to use as many banks as you can, and you create your own character and fancy.”
Alicia is inspired by the women of her life, including her real mother.
And the Hollywood star, married to Michael Fassbender, suggested that motherhood also changed her perspective.
She tells “Entertainment Tonight”: But of course, I think we can have a deeper performance from now on. “
Earlier this month, Alicia revealed that she had quietly welcomed her baby in early 2021 and admitted that she loved the challenge of motherhood.
She states: “I now have a whole new understanding of life in general. It’s very beautiful and it’s clear that it will give a lot to my future work.”
Nonetheless, the acclaimed actress revealed that she was keen to keep some aspects of her journey private.
Alicia, who has been married to Michael since 2017, was asked to summarize the changes in her life since giving birth, saying, “I think I’ll wait for it. I’m enjoying finding it right now. Above all. “
