Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (WHTM) — At around 6:45 pm on Monday, a Cessna plane made an emergency landing at the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County.
Two people were on board the plane, but no injuries were reported.
According to Flight Aware, the plane took off from Trenton, NJ, around 4:30 pm on Monday. The pilot is Pa. The plane was in the air for about two hours before making an emergency landing along the turnpike.
Local police believe that the two tractor trailers collided with the plane while they were grounded beside the freeway.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane is registered with Mustang Sally Airlines LLC in South Carolina.
