Bristol Township >> Before 10 am on Friday, police said a motorcyclist died in a goose accident.
The accident happened on state and river roads in the town’s Croydon section when police said the geese flew directly from the forest to the side of the motorcyclist’s head.
According to police, the impact sent the 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle to the oncoming lane, shook it by the 2016 Chevrolet Park, and then headed head-on to the 2022 Toyota Highlander.
A motorcycle driver, who said police did not wear a helmet, was declared dead on the scene by the backcountry rescue team.
Bristol Township Police were assisted on-site by the Bristol Autonomous Region Police, Bristol Township Fire Marshal, Bucks County Rescue Team and Croydon Fire Brigade.
If you have any information about the crash, please call Officer Paul Aita (267-812-3042).
