A man in crisis after the shooting of Wilkinsburg

Wilkinsburg, PA (KDKA) —The shooting in Wilkinsburg injured one person, officials said.

According to county police, authorities were informed that there was a shooting at 500 blocks on Franklin Avenue around 3 pm on Tuesday.

He was taken to a local hospital.

According to sources, the victim was staying in a half-baked house. He then went out to Franklin Avenue, where he was shot many times after the car was pulled up, sources said.

Two neighbors told KDKA-TV that they heard multiple gunshots.

“It was very unrealistic and I saw the victims lying there,” said Eric McIntosh, a pastor of the Wilkinsburg police. “He was alive and moving at that time.”
