6th and 9th grade students in Erie School District return to face-to-face learning

High school and junior high school students from Ellie School District will return to the classroom on Wednesday morning.

Tomorrow, April 7, 6th and 9th grade students will participate in face-to-face learning, leaving the other grades apart.

The principal of Strong Vincent Middle School said that about 55% of the students are back.

Most Strong Vincent teachers have three face-to-face classes and two virtual classes.

The principal also taught us what we need to do at school to prepare our students for their return.

“We have worked closely with the central administration of the regional school district. They were very helpful. The desks are properly spaced. Our children must wear masks. I know it won’t be. We have hand sanitizers. We are posting signs. We will continue to review expectations and procedures with them. So we will transfer tomorrow. I’m sure it’s ready, “said Andrea Gloristein, principal of Strong Vincent Junior High School.

Grades 6-12 who choose to return to face-to-face instruction will return to the classroom by Friday.
