3 people in eastern Pennsylvania killed in West Virginia Thanksgiving crash – The Morning Call

Three people were killed and two injured in a crash on Interstate 79 in West Virginia on Thanksgiving Day, officials said.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred early Thursday morning near Elkview, north of Charleston, when a vehicle containing two adults and three children was traveling from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, to Kentucky. was

The southbound SUV pulled off the right side of the roadway, entered and exited the trench line, and stopped along the hillside. No other vehicles were believed to be involved.

Two adult women, Naigat Sieda, 71, and Hira Sieda, 33, were killed along with their children. Two other children were taken to hospital and are in serious condition, according to a statement.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
