The Berks County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the next fugitive.
Sheila Sheriff, 57, recently lived on 800 blocks on School Kill Avenue on suspicion of theft and stolen goods. She is about 5 feet 5 inches and 200 pounds. Reading Police provided this account: Sheriff 433 W. Douglass St when she stole $ 14,642.39 from her employer. I was an employee of the Family Dollar Store. During August, sheriffs were responsible for depositing money daily from all cashiers to Wells Fargo Bank. The sheriff was seen on a camera that had a bag of money in the safe but did not close the safe door. As other employees left the store, sheriffs were seen taking the money bag out of the safe and putting it in a plastic bag.
Tamara Stamp, 33, recently lived on a bench warrant in the first block of Bowers Road in Ontelony Township. She is about 5 feet 5 inches and 120 pounds. The sheriff’s department said the stump did not appear in Berks County Court on May 12 on two felony warrants for robbery.
